I've just got two Australorp bantams. Had them coming up for 3 weeks and they are settling well. POL. but I'm concerned that they don't scrat. I've had hens in the past which would spend many happy hours scratting, looking for worms, digging even. These little chucks are inquisitive and seem ok but they aren't exploring in the way I expected. Maybe it's too soon. I'm sure 2 isn't enough and I am looking at getting a couple more, soon.
