Chukar escape!

So last night it was really really windy up here in the north easy and the coop door was blown open. (through a latched door) and just woke up to 13 missing! caught 1 and there are a few more around the house high up in pine trees!

SO FRUSTRATING! Made it all the way through winter and just as they start to lay!

UG!

Guess i will be leaving the door open hoping a few will return!

ANy sugestions?

Maybe "harvest" them out of season? How close are your closest neighbors?

hmm sorry but you will never see them again LOL

If you fed them well and they like their former home they may hang around.

My bobwhithes and Chukars got loose (by my neglect) but I recovered 95% of them.
