First time incubating, and today the first 2 hatched!!! We are so excited. My kids named them Cuaquito, and Lexie.

I’m already looking for another set of fertile eggs to hatch...wish I had a higher hatch rate..started with 22, and only 5...and an iffy 6th looked good at day 18.

Soooo addicting!

So a third one hatched...named Chirpy! It amazes me how quickly and matter of fact kids are able to pick names....it took us months and months to pick our own kids names!
I have 2 more eggs that look iffy, now it’s day 24. I think my eyes are playing tricks on me and may see movement but I can’t seem to share video. Here’s a few pics...one looks like maybe a bloodline is starting to form? Not sure...no smells that I can discern, but I also change so many human poop diapers that I’m desensitized, lol. Should I make a pip in air sac?
