Hi all,

My chicks are only out during daylight hours because it's still tad too cold to leave them out all night. We still get just below freezing here. But the time is coming for them to soon be out (in the coop, not free-ranging) all through the night. Also, they really dislike me bringing them in. In the morning I can catch them no problem to bring them out, but the evening they do their best to avoid me. However, I need to predator proof the base of the run still. Can I use above ground cinder blocks along the outside of the run? Or will they be okay if I lock the coop door to the run at night?

Okay. I'll get more welded wire then. I only have a too small piece left and a plethora of cinderblocks.
Thank you
