Someone posted a picture a little while back of one of their birds which happened to be a Cinnamon Queen. This spring I purchased what were supposed to be RIR's from my feed store but I know now that they have grown they are not. That picture that was posted looks just like my birds. What exactly are they,,a cross of something or their own breed. I went to Hendersons Chart and none was listed. Thanks everyone.

Cinnamon Queens are red sexlinks. That's just a "brand name". They are a cross of two different breeds. Silver Laced Wyandotte crossed with New Hampshire makes the Cinnamon Queen. Check out Feathersite under Sexlinks and you'll see pics of lots of them.

Thanks Cynthia,,,,I can see the Wyandotte in their feathering! I will check out feathersite right now. I just love that name "Cinnamon Queen". I am also going to tell my feed store to know what they are selling!

Good luck with that one! I saw a Porcelain D'Uccle cockerel the feedstore was selling and asked the owner what it was. She told me a bearded Cochin.
