My Jake was a churkey daddy too and a great one, they managed three little churkeys between them. They used to ride Daddy's back. They STILL think they're turkeys and they're RIR and BAmix. He still loves them. She got eaten by a fox... sigh.

They are still caring for the chick. Clark will even sit down and let the baby crawl into his feathers. What a softy! I don't think he has been eating well, he really seems to worry about Claudia and the chick.

So today at the evening bread run which no bird on the farm can resisit (except the turkeys with a baby) I found Clark at my side 'gobbling' hunks of bread down and then he would run back to his family to check on them then run back for a bit more. I've never seen him eat so fast before.
