she has been inside with us for almost 3 weeks.... recuperating from supposedly a BAD case of "fly strike" ... like a 3 inch circle, below her vent....
She has the run of a room in the walkout basement with a window and doors... Of course we have t watch where we step when we step thru the French Door..... she likes leaving us surprises o the floor.. e keep a tray under her during the night she rests on a little roost..... on top of the chest freezer by the wall.....
she is so anxious to get outside..... She cant see the rest of her Sisters but she can hear Roo rooo....
Have read about intergrating her back in the flocks... I keep telling her she" has a Pretty butt getting Prettier everyday"........coming back, We dont know how long before those feathers will if ever grow back....
now if Ic an just get classical music to the others.....
thanks all

I'm glad she seems to be getting better.

When my cat got her tail "skinned" by a car, she couldn't go to the vets until morning (long story, my parents were at the hospital, my Dad was getting stitches). I sat near the cage she was in and listened to music and sang to her. I think it helped keep her calm (and me too!).
