Clean and dirty eggs

A fellow we were working for gave dad an i each a dozen eggs, which was very nice of him. He apologized that they were really dirty but that his wife was quite insistent that they couldn’t be washed, i assured him i quite understood and that i was well accustomed to dirty eggs. Turns out his are much dirtier than mine
Either my girls are very clean ducks or their house particularly clean, so the eggs stay cleaner, but ive not seen anything like these i was given. They taste just fine none the less I actually think ive eaten the worst of them.

I like to brush the worst off before cracking.. I like to doctor my eggs up.. but i am nore into salt/pepper and hot sauce than chicken poop

I mean you can wash them. Just don't leave them on the counter.

Usually if they just have a bit of dry surface stuff on them, I don’t mind and leave them on the counter. If they’re wet and dirty, those i wash and put in the fridge, or if they’re really bad the dog gets them. Lol. I do wash the eggs just before cracking them to use though, if they’re left on the counter. Saves me having to pick floaties out of my pan...
