Clean legged Cochins?

Has anyone ever tried breeding to get a clean legged Cochin? I think they are beautiful birds but I can do without the feathers on their legs.

Try Orpingtons? especially the English type.

Taking the feathers off a Cochin is getting rid of the breed it self.

As others said, try English type Orpingtons or even Wyandottes, though they have rose combs and not so much a "cushion" but instead a gradual sweep up to the tail.

You'd definitely have to go with English-typed Orpingtons. They have fantastic poofiness, yet they lack the high maintenance feather'd legs.
