clean my hens bottom after prolapse

ok rosey has poop on her bottom but it is stuck to the inside of her bottom if trhat makes any sense. i am planning on giving her a warm bath to try to get it off. the problem is that it is almost time for them to go to bed also she is limited to 4-6 hrs of daylight a day ans she has alomost had that today already. should i just put some lubricant on it now and then give her the bath in the morning?

I saw your post unanswered and wondered how your Rosie is, hoping for the best... If you have suggestions/helpful hints, or not to do's , THIS chicken lover would appreciate knowing, as we have had 2 hens with what you seem to indicate here... We hope Rosie is better with you.
