Cleaned out the fridge today

I dumped anything unrecognizable (last 2 weeks of school were non cooking weeks for me).
The Delightful Dozen were served, 3/4 of a cabbage head, and a celery stalk that had seen better days. Later, some old cherries were served.
The cabbage was a hit, it was down to a just few leaves around the core by late afternoon! The celery was ignored until the cabbage was nearly gone. Later, when cherries were sent in - the DD fought over them! LOL
So much fun to watch!

Pizza in the oven now, leftovers for the DD? We will see in a couple of days.

My chicks won't eat cabbage

but they love lettuce, broccoli, cauliflower and carrots.

Funny, the girls just got 15 minutes of freedom. The run was opened and they were allowed out in the yard. After seeing the potential hazards they were all lured back in with some cooked bulgar wheat. We will try again tomorrow after I take care of the hazards!
