I bought a GQF bator and hatcher yesterday and have had them running in the garage all night and holding perfect temp. The problem is that they are filthy and smell bad. How is the best way to clean them out short of taking the pressure washer to them? I know I don't want to soak the boards but there is a lot of poop in the bottoms. After I clean them, can I repaint them and if so what kind of paint should I use?

Thanks,

I clean mine with bleach every other use and then soak the trays in a 55 gal. trash cans over night if I need to. I use a scrub brush and water for the poop. But you might use wax paper on the trays. It helps to keep clean.
