So, I have bought a 10 on each side nesting box,

1. What do I disinfect it with? I know bleach or vinegar causes more rust. Can I use antibacteria soap and let it dry in the sun? or a dilution of bleach to water?
2. how high should it sit in the coop? my husband wants to suspend from the ceiling--will that work?
3. my coop design was 8x8, will 81/2x8 work, or will 9 feet make getting it in/out easier? I'm only using 1 side and closing off the other side.
4. Does anyone know if there is a resource for replacement parts? it's shenandoah company made.
5. There are permant fake eggs inside with black plastic pans-- can/do I still use nesting materials? Do i add some soft material to the runner for the eggs?
This farmer has several more, craigs list in chattanooga--the farmer is in varnell,ga. $25.00 each.
He also sells ture amerucana (sp?) and black copper maran, chicks and fertile eggs.
