O.K. so I broke down and bought 4 very attractive, active, just too cute to be believed Buff Orps. yesterday. They are doing well, but one of them has a spot of poop right on the shoulder joint (?) it looks like it is keeping the wing from opening all the way. She is very easy to handle, but I can't find anything about getting it off. Water? Soap? (not thrilled about that) will it be a problem?

It will come off when the feathers are shed. I would not get them wet to clean it unless you absolutely had to, because of the chance that they might get chilled.

Thanks, I try the squishing it, I figured it would come off when the feathers shed, I just don't like the wing seeming to be bound. OMgosh I never realized how much fun they are.
