We have a run about 32ft long that is shared by 3 ducks and 8 chickens. All are 8 weeks old. The run is more so rocks - we have clay soil so the rocks help it from not getting so muddy. The problem I'm running into is cleaning it. I tried to rake it but nothing happened. Either the ground is too hard or its too muddy from all the rain that everything is just "stuck"... if that makes sense. I also don't have a spicket that is located near it to hose it down. Does anyone have any suggestions of what I could do because it is starting to smell. (I blame it more so on the ducks
) Will putting sand down make a difference?
