Cleaning eggs for incubating

How do you all clean your eggs if they are dirty before setting them

Wipe with a dry paper towel. Do not wash.

A broody hen will poop all over the eggies she's hatching. And somehow, they survive

Same way I do dishes in the sink. Hot hot soppy water. Put them in an then them soak for a minute they wipe them an rinse them in more hot water... Then in to the dish drainer.
 
I don't incubate really dirty eggs. If there's a little, I use a piece of fine sandpaper and get it off. I know there are differing opinions about all of this, though.
