What would be a safe solution or chemical I could use to clean the coop inside and hose it down, that would not harm my chickens?

No chemical is safe to APPLY to the birds.
The coop alone, well the best thing would be white vinegar to clean out a smell. Let it air out afterwards.
I also, always after a complete cleaning and somethimes inbetween, toss food grade DE ont he walls, floors ,ceiling and into the bedding.

Thank for your help I was thinking vinigar but I thought I would make sure it is safe.

Vineger and water is a great deodorizer and cleaner as is bleach and water or just soap and water. Just keep the birds out of the coop till it has time to dry and air out

I heard oxine is safe, but I have never used it.
