Cleaning Tips & Tricks On Cleaning Show Birds

I'm thinking of putting chickens in a show soon, and I want them to look their best. Does anyone have any advice on what cleaning products I should use, what time before the show I should clean them, etc.? And, hopefully, are their any tricks you could share?
