Not sure if this is the correct place to ask this, but, literally, my buff orpingtons are great, however one of them has a serious dirty bottom and I can't remember where I read about how to clean them up so they don't get a blocked vent? My hubby thinks I am nuts but I can't stand looking at it and I think it will eventually inhibit egg laying, am I right? And what is the quickest and easiet way to handle this? Appreciate any advice

I don't think my hubby will go for that, lol. Would it work to use a warm rag and just clean that area? Would I still have to dry her off? She is probably not going to like it, not really that tame......

How about a bucket of warm water? You could try the warm wash cloth but not sure how clean you can get her? And yes, she will need to be dried if she is not living in a heated environment. My girls aren't all that tame either, but the warm bath and warm dryer seems to hypnotize them.
