Cleaning up an incubator can I use windex?

I am cleaning an incubator, and wondering if it is okay to use windex. Thanks.

I would not use Windex, no. I usually use Dawn dish soap first, rinse really well, and then swish a bleach solution all around. This is the base, not the top with the electronics. You can clean the inside of the lid with a wet cloth, just don't get the electronic and heating stuff wet. If you can sit it out in the sun for a few hours, that helps too. UV rays kill some germs.

I tested the incubator and it smelled electrical. I will not use.
