I had a pair of girls who started laying lash eggs which meant salpingitis. I have put them down, it's now December.
I could purchase a couple new birds but I wonder if there is something I should do in the coop to make sure they don't contract the same disease.
Bleach needed or no? Let is sit all winter and then good in Spring?

I would disinfect now and then again in the spring before getting new birds. Maybe sprinkle some DE around on the ground if its dry.

Where did you get the birds with salpingitis?

Was the organism causing the salpingitis(bacterial or viral) confirmed thru a necrospy?
Hard to know if it would be contagious thru the existing environment of the coop/run to new birds,
but knowing what caused it would help you determine if and with what to sanitize with.
