Clear gooey stuff passed after egg binding

Hi there! I’m a first time chicken mama and my sweet girl had an egg binding problem this afternoon. She eventually passed an egg with a squishy shell. I thought we were past the worst, but now she’s passing what appears to be the contents of another egg. No shell this time, just whiteish, clear goo. Is this normal after egg binding? Has anyone seen this before? I’ve removed her from the other hens to a cosy, quiet place with fresh water. Not sure what else to do. I’ll take any suggestions. Thank you!

Looks more like she has diarrhea. Her poop is loose. And she’s passing it independent from the other whiteish clear stuff. She just started drinking a little water, so that was encouraging.

Is she able to poop?
I would keep watch on her. It sounds like she has albumen (egg whites) leaking from her vent. She may have another shell less egg or a membrane that needs to be passed as well.
I would worry about possible infection if egg matter leaked into the oviduct. If you have vet care that would be a good idea. Otherwise, I would be tempted to give her an antibiotic to help prevent infection. Amoxicillin can be found at some feed stores like Tractor Supply or you can order it online. Dose is 57mg per pound of weight given orally twice a day for up to 7 days.

What do you feed? I would provide oyster shell free choice for all your ladies.

For this one, I would also give her extra calcium (1 TUMS or 1/2 Caltrate) for 3 days.
If you have poultry vitamins, I would also direct dose her for a couple of days.

Yes, if you can take her to the vet.
