I didn't know where else to post this so here we go. I am wondering if clematis will hurt my chickens if they eat any of it. I am thinking about planting some around their run.

I have one in the yard and my chickens are free ranging and I haven't had any problems...

I have 6 varieties in my yard with the chickens, They have never paid any attention to them.

Good. I looked up to see if it was poisonous and it is but if they won't touch it, I'm not worried. I may just put some pole beans or peas on the run instead and put the clematis elsewhere in case they get curious. Better safe than sorry.

Naawwww, chickens wont bother it much. Maybe a peck or two, but that's it. Aint much on a clematis to hold a chickens attention for long.
