I have no idea how to start this 
There is a market auction every year at my county 4h fair, where kids from 4h and FFA come to sell their animals. Last year, because everyone else (In my market project) was doing chickens and ducks, I did geese (It was also kinda an excuse to get geese because my parents said we would never ever, ever get geese
) And that started my intense adoration of the species. I had five geese last year, which was probably two geese too many 
, but I didn't want to risk it if geese were anything like turkeys. They all had goose themed names, which were Goosego, Stargoose (because he had wry neck when he arrived), Lucy Goosey, Gooselda, Goose cous. I loved them all way too much for animals that were inevitably going to be eaten, but they were like my pets almost. I taught them to come over to me when called, and they would let me hug and pet them

I auctioned off two of them, and sold the others too a person that wanted geese for his pond (as in, really big pond) becuase I figured they would have a better life out there then spending the rest of their life flapping around in a kiddie pool

When this year rolled around, and it was time to start thinking about what animals we wanted to raise for auction, no suprise here, I decided to go with geese again. Ordered them straight from Metzer, three male embden geese!!
They arrived yesterday with no problems, and they're so adorable!!
I am currently in the process of befreinding them, and have weighed them, legbanded them, and named them!
They are named after Top Gun characters because people at the auction will (hopefully) go crazy fo it. I have Maverick (5.8 oz), Goose (5 oz) and Iceman (5.8 oz).
I pretty sure thats all for now! I have no idea how regularly I will update this, probably weekly
