Clues to the Roos???

At about 5 weeks of age you will see a significant difference In the Roos strongly developed waddles and comb most of the time granted some do turn out later

Thank you so much! So at 10 days old, there is no earthly way to guess who might be a roo? Faster growth of tail feathers? Or faster growth of thingys on their beaks? ... ... OK... I'm new and excited to find out who are girls and who are boys.

Funny, I just heard the exact opposite a few weeks back. The roos just hang there and the pullets fight.

I also heard that you can tell by spreading the wings out and looking at the feather length. Roos will have three full rows of equal length feathers and pullets will have the third row shorter than the rest. No idea if there's any truth to these.

I have 3 Roos! Two Wellsummers and one Indian River (Hampshire/Delaware X) Kellog, Belegurth and Cowboy.
