They come from "egg lady" in Olympia WA. She has a rooster with her hens YAY!! My trader Joe's eggs were fertile but no veins after several days. No progress at all.
I bought these from a co-op because when I drove past the egg lady's house/farm she had her gate closed. I guess because it's going into a holiday weekend. So hoping that they haven't been sitting at the co-op long. They said that they just started carrying them yesterday.
that is good news for me. Means the eggs should be very fresh.
I have one dozen white eggs, and a dozen "mixed" goes from dark brown slowly down to white. I am hoping to get many different types of chicks and hoping to have 6 chicks hatch from these 2 dozen.
Has anyone had success hatching Co-op eggs?
