I have 10 17 week old chicks on non medicated feed for the past 3 weeks or so. Ive been seeing red in some poops periodically and i thought it was just intestinal lining. This looks different. Could it be cocci??? Thanks!

That looks like intestinal lining to me. If this is only occasional, and the birds are acting normally, then I'd just watch for anything to change. If anyone looks 'off' or you start seeing a lot of it regularly, then it may be time to treat, or get a fecal done for confirmation.

Stand back, watch them, and look for one that's maybe a little more puffed up, or sleeping while standing. I think if I saw poop like that in mine I would start Corid, Sulfa, or Baycox.
