So I posted yesterday. Thanks to the advice of some great chicken folks I ran out this morning and got powdered corid. I've mixed at 1tsp per 1 gal of water and given to the babies. Well, 11 week old babies. Some are drinking, some we have had to help. How do we know when they are going to be ok? Is it ok to administer via syringe if they aren't drinking on their own? For those, do I mix a different dosage?

Thx!!

The dosage is good enough. The ones that arnt drinking enough of the mixture will need to be given the treated water orally, a little at a time as not to cause them to aspirate. You'll have to do this at least 7-8 times a day until they can drink the mixture on their own.
The corid mixture should be made fresh each day and not given no more than 7 days. Hopefully your birds will perk up after 3 or 4 days of treatment, but continue to the 7th day.
