Coccidiosis again?

I have a 10 week old EE chick who started showing lethargic signs today. When she was around 2-3 weeks old she began getting lethargic, showed signs of bloody stool, and I put her on corid for 7 days, 2 tsp per gallon of water. She recovered and was doing fine until today.

I noticed her head drooping and her wanted to lay down and sleep despite the rest of the chicks moving around and being active. I haven't seen any sign of bloody stool yet. We pulled her out and I went ahead and started her on another batch of corid, 2 tsp to a gallon.

Am I doing the right thing? Could she be hit with coccidiosis again? Is there something else I should be looking out for?

Yes, I would have done the same thing. She is still at the age when they are becoming immune to cocci in the local soil. Complete immunity varies, but some don't have it until between 11 and 20 weeks. I would also treat the flockmates.

Thanks for the reply! I have added the corid to the rest of the flocks water and the sick chick is inside being drip fed the corid until she starts to perk up.
