I had a 7 week old blue cochin the other day who had 1 eye closed. I thought maybe someone pecked it. She could open it but rarely did.
The next day she had both eyes closed and her head was drooping, like she was sleepy. So I took her inside and administered my first chick "meds". I put 1 ml of nutridrench in her for poultry. By evening, she was perky with both eyes open!!!
Whew!
