Hello,
I have two cochin silkie mixes - one is a roo and one is a hen. I must say they aren't the smartest of chickens. My roo is a lot smarter than my hen. She is sweet and has her routine but she's not going to conduct a light opera.
My question is, if I change her routine significantly will it stress her out too much? I was thinking of bringing her in (the house) for the winter but I don't want to create a bigger problem. Can anyone tell me what the temperaments of the silkie type breeds are? How adaptable are they? Anyone else brought one in?
Need some advice.
Thanks!
Chookchik
