Cochin Silkie?

So, this little girl/boy is a cochin, but is color crossed.
What we find interesting, is the only "normal" feathers this chick has, are the flight feathers.
The rest are pure fluff!

Are we correct in assuming a silkie gene has popped thru?

THis is what the tail looks like. Just fluff. No real feathers like its nest mates.
 
It could be a cochin silkie cross. Or it could just be feathering out slower than the rest. Time will tell!
