Cochins in heat

I ordered black frizzle Cochins and mottled Cochin bantams. Now someone told me they don't do well in heat. I live in Nebraska. Does anyone have Cochins and live in an area where the heat can get past 90-100 degrees on some days?

I have both and haven't noticed them suffering more in any kind of weather than other breeds. All chickens can suffer in the heat so hopefully you are prepared to help them get through it okay.

Yes I have misters, fans, plenty of shade and other things suggested in the books or magazines I've read! Thank you so much.
