Ok, so I have suspected my blue Silkie, Mizuki, of being a little cockerel for quite some time now. He and his hatchmate Misumi are right at 18 weeks old, and he has just recently started sporting a pretty impressive little comb. I had JUST posted to my facebook this morning stating that I figured he was a boy.
He decided to prove it just now when I went to check and change water for them before I head to work. Cockadoodle DOOO...three times, in a very mature and professional manner. *laughs* I have NOOOO idea how long he's been practicing, but he has it down. Thankfully he's not loud. He is a pretty thing, and I guess I can live with a cockadoodle roo as long as he stays sweet.
