So my vet prescribed my bird prebiotics... it was starting to work until I noticed some white powder in the corner of her cage! She started taking it out of her food and putting it on the floor! How?! I also tried mixing it in and she still does it!

Animals, especially birds, are so crafty! You could try adding it to a chick mash or homemade treat balls. Include some hemp seeds. My bro-in-law was a bit of a expert when it came to trieating his parrot's ailments. Good luck.

edit: a drizzle of molasses in the treat balls or mash might help.

For our macaws, the vet had me mix their meds in with sugar-free strawberry yogurt and feed with an eyedropper. I just let them lick the spoon. That worked.
