Can you put these in the same cage? Just wondering

Yup. I had a tiel that was lonley but I didnt want another one so I got a parakeet and they were very happy with each other. I would just watch and make sure you have a good match, a tiel could really hurt a parakeet if they dont get along.

I have a tiel and 2 parakeets in the same cage havent had a problem Just make sure your cage is large enough for all of them my cage is 3 foot long and 5 foot high. I would not think that a blind parakeet would be a problem.

Our cockatiel, Bacon, and three of our budgies get out of cage time together (which usually involves Bacon hanging out inside the budgie cage with them). They'll have minor squabbles here and there but that's normal for birds in general. Never more than a quick nip (but no actual bite) at each other when they are arguing over a spot.

I'd be more worried about the budgies harassing your cockatiel. From what I've read budgies are more territorial and aggressive than cockatiels.

I came home one day to find my parakeet in the cage with my cockatiel. He had gotten out of his cage, somehow and could fit through the bars of the cockatiel cage. They lived together after that. Even though the parakeet could leave the cage at any time, he didn't unless I let them out the door.

The parakeet was a male and the cockatiel was a female.

Female budgies can be agressive but usually cockatiels and bugies do just fine housed together. In the wild they share the same "range" and have similar needs. How large is your cage?
