Cockatiels ----> This is a long shot but I gotta try

I have a sweet female cockatiel and she wants to be a mommy.
She always lays eggs and wants to sit BUT
she is an albino and her eggs have never been fertile.
I just noticed that she is beginning to flirt with my male and check out the nest box.
I know she will put all of herself into this effort again and nothing will come of it.

DO ANY OF YOU IN NY, OH, PA have cockatiels that are laying and would be willing to send me a few fertile eggs.
I am thinking next week or so she will start to lay..

I thought if they did not have to be shipped to far they might make it. we are in NY

Fluf, look for a breeder in your area. There must be one for cockatiels.
I doubt their eggs would make a trip in the mail, especially this time of year.

Oh good luck Fluff,
Im looking after some cockatiels, they are great birds.
They have a nestbox with 2 hatchlings in there, 2 weeks old, gee they look funny with those huge eyes on a little head.

Try contacting the York Area bird club. I used to breek tiels many many years ago, they would have credible breeders you could contact.
