Cockerel can’t quite mate..

Hello! We have a cockerel and five other pullets around the same age. One of our pullets started laying eggs recently and our cockerel can’t quite figure out how to mate with her.. They will do their regular procedure, but after she squats, he can’t quite figure out how to get on top of her.. Will he eventually figure it out?
