Cockerel or Pullet... 7-8 Week Old Golden Laced Wyandottes

Thinking Number 1 is a Roo, but confused because it feathered in so quickly and is very laced and not at all solid....

#1 GLW Obious Comb and waddle that is pretty red, but feathered in very quickly and is very laced in it's color, not solid so I am confused......





#2 GLW no comb at all..... slight waddle, lacing with much more black than my other

I think that straight comb chickens get bigger combs and wattles before other combs, and since your second has the normal comb for a GLW, I think and hope 1 is just a single comb pullet. But because it's only 7 weeks I'd keep an eye on it.

I agree... but at 7 weeks, that comb is awful big. I'd be thinking cockerel, but the lacing is gorgeous!

What did they turn out to be? I have a GLW that looks like #2 and is about 7 weeks, very dark like that.
