I have 6 week old black australorps and olive Egger. When I got them I was told all pullets. The older they get one of my olive Eggers is looking like a cockerel. What does everyone think?
Thank you 😊

That is a lot of comb for 6 weeks. I don’t see any wattle growth though. I’d be suspicious it’s a male, but since the OE are a mix I’d wait a bit longer to see as some breeds do get earlier comb growth.

The other thing is that all the other pullets are friendly they eat out of my hand except for that one very skid dish. That’s why I’m also wondering if it’s a cockerel . Thanks

Cockerels are usually quite engaging and friendly as chicks. And then the hormones hit and they sometimes turn into demons!
But it still is leaning toward the cockerel side of the fence for me.
On a side note, when are you moving them to the coop? They're big!

I never wanted a rooster so I’m annoyed that they said they are all pullets. So not sure what’s going to happen if it turns out to be a roo. Maybe his hormones already kicked in lol. I have other chickens so I have started to introducing them to the others. So I’m hoping in a week or 2 i will put them in the coop with the others . Is there a special to do this?

Vent sexing chicks is an acquired skill and not 100% perfect. 90% is about as good as you can hope for.
You should start a new thread in the Managing Your Flock forum for integration tips. Basically, LOTS, and I mean LOTS of space after starting with a 'look-don't-touch' period for about a week. The earlier you start this, the better.

Do you thinking would ok to
