Just wondering if you can help me out again. Purchased pullets 5/24 hatched 5/22. This is my olive egger (barnevelder/ameraucana x). My friendliest chick out of the bunch. When I last posted it was about the cuckoo maran that I thought was a cockerel and all agreed.
The maran and this chick are fighting constantly. They are 6 weeks old. The maran had a bloody comb yesterday from it. The maran likes to challenge the other 4 chicks. My olive egger gets along great with all but the maran. Just wondering if she is also a he and that is why they are fighting. She is just starting to get some green tinting to her back feathers. I moved them from the house to their coop yesterday so I am hoping having a little more space will allow them to get along better. But I saw them fighting while in their outdoor pen as well. I am rambling, but wonder if anyone has any ideas on the sex...... Thanks!
