Cockerels Attacking.

Hello Everyone,

I have 10 polands (7 hens and 3 cockerels) and im having problems with them attacking my partner. When I go to let them out the cockerels rush out first. They used to attack all the time but after a few kicks they have settled down, but they still persist. My partner on the other hand gets attacked every time she goes in.

So really my question is - Is there a way to stop them attacking other than kicking them, I don't want to hurt them as I sell their eggs for hatching.

Any help would be great

Thanks the post was helpful, I think il try the handling approach, they are very tame as ive had them from chicks and to be honest polish cant see all that well anyway
