I'm new to this "hobby". Converting an older aviary into my coop(4 x 5 inside measurement) with a 6 x 10 run.

Welcome to BYC! I would cover the run and any openings with 1\2 inch hardware cloth to keep predators out! I would even lay at least a 2 foot wide piece around the perimeter of the coop and run to deter digging predators. Steel landscaping staples work great and are relatively cheap! Also make sure to have plenty of ventilation Well above their heads! Best of luck to you! 😊

this is all what I am doing. 90% of the hardware cloth is on. Nothing can get in the coop as it sits on concrete pavers with a solid concrete foor.
