Coffee grinds for duck bedding?

Does anyone have experience with coffee grinds for duck bedding? I have a coop for chickens a few ducks. I've created a shelf under one of the roosts to hold coffee grinds and it is DREAMY for ease of cleaning up their poop! I have assumed that I can't put coffee grinds on the entire floor (or a large section of floor), being a shared space with ducks, but I was wondering if anyone has tried this. I appreciate that it would definitely need to be separate from any wet areas, but even accounting for that, would it work at all?

I have not done this. I only use it on the poop board for my chicken and rooster.
