What's the coldest that you've ever had shipped eggs make it in? I might be getting some and it looks like the temps are going to be in the single didgets about the time they should arrive. I'm afraid I'm just going to get a box full of ice balls.

It was nice and warm and in the 60's when I bid. Guess I should have looked at the long term forcast.

If anyone has worse luck than me with shipped eggs then I sure feel sorry for them.

I had 46 silkie eggs shipped to me and it was below zero here when they arrived. The post office kept them and called when they arrived. So I just had to go and pick them up! Worked out perfectly. I am just now in lockdown with them and am down to 26 with 5 not looking the best so we will see. I don't think it had anything to do with traveling in the cold that I lost so many, I think it was due to rough handling.

Good luck!

Below zero? Well then, maybe there is a chance after all.

YES! Just got outbid so don't have to worry about it. LOL
