Cold temps

We have a very cold weekend here and wondering how cold our ladies could safely tolerate

I read as long as there is no wind they can tolerate -15 to -20. We have sun here but -2, I opened the door to let them out, if they come out that is another story. I have water and food for them.

Tomorrow it starts to warm up, we will have 10 degrees for the high tomorrow.

(Our extra cold - temps only lasts 2 days here. So far this month.)
 
I have brought mine through in a non heated coop at -35 degrees during the night. The rooster, did loose a point or two of a very large comb. He since has moved on, and the rooster I have now, I kept one with more of a pea comb, bigger than an EE though.

Don't think warm and cold, think DRY and wind protection. A dry chicken out of the wind can take a lot of cold.
