Colder weather not slowing them down much

Just putting it out there. Vermont weather is definitely getting colder. Here it is Dec. 2nd and my girls are still laying very well. 11 laying hens, 8 eggs per day. 6 Easter eggers won't start laying until spring I believe. Wouldn't be surprised if I go to the coop one morning and find my first colored egg though.
 
Seems like there have been a lot of posts from folks saying their egg production has dropped...your post was a nice change. Those are some beautiful eggs!

I know. Here in Utah it's high in the 40's. I was getting about 8-12 eggs a day now the girls are giving me 2-4? What's up with that?! Congrats on your great egg layers. I'm jealous
 
Just beautiful! They won't let that cold weather get them down!
