Hey.
Worried about my pekin duck. I went out to the cage this morning and I noticed a new egg but it looks weak and partially collapsed (dented in). She is currently the only duck in the pen after a dog attack (12weeks ago) and healed from injury and just recently returned outside. I d not have a chance to grab the egg this morning to see if it was as weak as it looked. But still worried. Any ideas?

Every once in a while, ducks will lay an egg without the hard shell. If it happens a couple times in a row, provide oyster shell or other calcium rich foods that are safe for them.

And if she has only started laying again, gotta get the kinks out of the system again.
