Thank you for the wonderful welcome! Everyone I know thinks I'm... eccentric... for having chickens as pets. But really, after a hard day's work, having them greet me with cackles and scratch around in pleasure really helps me keep perspective. And there is not a person in my circle that doesn't just LOVE getting the eggs for me when they visit. And my daughters... all those lectures about not wasting food make a lot more sense when they understand the effort and life that goes into producing what we eat. I know I'm going to like it here!
