Colorful Beginnings

I've picked them up from other enthusiasts across the board. Eggbid is a good spot. I don't have an indoor aviary for them and I have cold winters too. One of my roosters is stubborn and he lost his comb this winter. I keep a heat lamp out there for them when the temp really dips. One thing I like about them compared to most of my other pheasants is that they are good parents and often do a better job at raising their own than I do. I had a big snake nail a bunch of my chicks last year in the brooder. i was NOT happy. After dining, he was too full to get out. Guess he won't do that again.
